John A. Oliver, 66, Stafford Springs passed on to eternal rest on Friday, January 13, 2023. Born on October 26, 1956 in Springfield, MA, a son of the late Leroy R. and Elaine (Gonet) Oliver. John had resided in Stafford Springs for the past 30 years and in Enfield before that. Prior to retiring John was employed with Hamilton Standard/Sunstrand, Ratheon / UTC for over 40 years. In his spare-time he enjoyed deep sea/ salt water fishing, football and spending time with family and friends.
John is survived by his two brothers Mark F. Oliver and his wife Karen of E. Granby, CT and Richard S. Oliver of Enfield, his nephew Mark Oliver and wife Sarah and their children Jake and Luke of Suffield, CT, and his niece Elaine Ducharme and husband Eric and their children Oliver and Stella of Granby, CT. Along with many cousins and friends. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by two brothers James and Roy.
Services for John will be private with interment in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield.
