Joseph S. Ceresky, 79, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Boynton Beach, FL. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Mary A. (Shasha) Ceresky. Born on September 30, 1942 in New London, CT to the late Stephen and Leona (Oliveri) Ceresky. A graduate of New London H.S. Joe then furthered his education at CCSU & UCONN. He had resided in Enfield for the past 52 years and in Boynton Beach, FL. Prior to retiring he was employed with Rockville High, Travelers Insurance Co. Asnuntuck C.C., the State of Connecticut and In his leisure time Joe enjoyed gardening, photography, and traveling, he was a member and lecture at St. Adalbert Church, Enfield, and volunteered at Delray Medical Center and Enfield Food Shelf.
In addition to his loving wife Mary, he is also survived by his four beloved children; Dawne LeKang (Donald) of Chantilly, VA, Chris Ceresky (Tracy Trowbridge) Boynton Beach, FL, Juliet DeAngelis (Bob) of Wareham, MA, and Eileen Bean (Mark) of Northfield, VT, his nine cherished grandchildren; Brittany (Michael Gibbons), Anton & Adam LeKang, Renee, Gabby, & Corinne DeAngelis, Patrick (Cynthia), Paul, & Sabrina Bean, a great-grandchild Riley Rose Bean, grandchildren Brittany Trowbridge James and Jacob Trowbridge.
Relatives and friends may gather with the family on Thursday, January 6, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 7, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Adalbert Church (St. Raymond of Penafort Parish) Enfield. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Mary Cemetery, New London, CT.
