Obituary for Joseph"Joey" C. Bosco

Joseph “Joey” Charles Bosco, 60, entered into eternal peace on Friday, April 1st 2022 surrounded by his family. Joey was born on February 26, 1962, in Springfield, MA. He was the son of the late Angelo and Mary (Diana) Bosco. He was a lifelong resident of Enfield, and graduated class of 1980 from Enfield High School.
Joey was co-owner of Bosco Automotive Inc., in Enfield. He served on several community boards where he held different positions. He was a member of the Enfield Town Council for 14+ years, where Joey loved the town of Enfield, and spent many hours of dedication. Joey was proud to call Enfield his home. Joey was also a Board of Director for the Four Town Fair, where he spent many hours leading up to fair weekends, where he spent time with family and friends. Joey loved spending his free time going to the beach, car shows, and time spent on his farm. On Friday nights you could find Joey at the Country Diner surrounded by close family, friends, talking for hours. Joey’s greatest title was being called “Papa” by his loving grandchildren who he adored and cherished very much.
Joey leaves behind his loving wife Jackie, and daughters, Jacquelyn M. Siekiera and her husband Zachary, Jessica M. Bosco, Jamie Jo Bosco, and spouse, Isaac Velazquez, and considered son in law, Ben Hebert all of Enfield, four cherished grandchildren, Charlotte, Waylon Joseph, Oliver, and Reagan. Joey also leaves behind his brothers, Angelo and wife Christie Bosco, John and wife Alison Bosco, his sister, Rori and her husband Nelson Correia, sister-in-law, Lori Bosco all of Enfield, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Charlie Bosco in 2021.
Family and friends are invited to gather for calling hours for Joey, on Thursday, April 7, from 3 – 7 P.M. at Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield, CT.
Joey’s funeral will be held on Friday, April 8, beginning at 9:30 A.M. from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by his cousin, Fr. Al Fontana at 11 A.M. at Holy Family Church, (St. Jeanne Jugan Parish), 23 Simon Rd., Enfield. Committal prayers and burial will follow immediately after the mass in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery in Enfield.
