Joyce C. (Gray) Kosiorek
On January 23, 2022, Joyce C. Kosiorek (Gray) passed away peacefully at 90 years old, living a remarkable life. Born in Springfield MA, March 14, 1931, Joyce was a very caring and compassionate person who was well-loved by her family, friends, and some very special close neighbors. A 1950 graduate of The High School of Commerce in Springfield, Joyce began her business career at Western MA electric in Springfield, then became an exceptional bookkeeper at The Highway Safety Design Corp. in Glastonbury and retired from Sweet Life Foods Inc. in Suffield after many years. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Lori George, and her two grandsons, Billy, and Timmy, of Simsbury, and her son, John Kosiorek, of Enfield. Joyce had a very close and loving relationship with many relatives and friends, Colby and Alice, and their children John and Phillip of Boston, MA. Jim and Sherry, Cheryl and Terry of Windsor. David and Mary of Ashford. Debbie Griffin of Windsor. Bill, and Teri of Berlin. She was predeceased by her loving husband John Kosiorek, who passed away in February 2001, and her sisters, Florence Godfrey, Jean Griffin, and Ruth Nutter. Her nephews John Griffin and William Nutter Jr. A memorial service will be held at The Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels at 43 Shaker Rd, Enfield, CT on Thursday, February 3rd, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to The Dementia Society Association www.dementiasociety.org in lieu of flowers.
