Obituary for Jozef Paluch

ENFIELD – Jozef Paluch, 85, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. Born of Polish descent in Yugoslavia, he came to the United States from Poland in 1976 moving first to Minnesota and then to Enfield in 1981. Jozef worked as a mechanic before his retirement and loved gardening and his flowers. He was a communicant of St. Adalbert’s Church and a member of the Rosary Sodality in Hartford. He was predeceased by a son, Lech Paluch in 2009. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Katarzyna (Kowal) Paluch, a son and his wife, Derek and Celina Paluch of Southington, a daughter and her husband, Barbara and Frank Skrzypek of Southampton, MA, a daughter-in-law, Krystyna Paluch of East Windsor, two brothers, Franek Paluch of Minneapolis, MN, Staszek Hasiak of Folkston, GA, two sisters, Stefania Dubina and Paulina Swierc both of Duluth, MN, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Calling hours are Friday, January 8, 2021 from 8:30-9:30am at the Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Road followed by a Mass at 10am at St. Adalbert’s Church.
