Obituary for Judie Ann Moran (Campbell)

Judith “Judie” A. Moran, 83, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest with her family by her side on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Born in Stafford Springs, CT, a daughter of the late Robert and Rhea (Burrell) Campbell.
A resident of Enfield for most of her life, Judie worked for many years at Card N Party, also known as The Hallmark Store. Most will remember her wonderful demeanor from over three decades of serving customers at Friendly's Ice Cream in the Enfield Square as well as Elm Street and Windsor Locks. She was the face of the restaurant touching countless lives along the way.
Judie loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends including her dearest friends known as the coffee ladies as well as her longtime St. Joe's friends of over 75 years who often came to visit her.
She enjoyed Dunkin Donuts coffee, crocheting, reading, crossword and wordsearch puzzles, scared many of us for life by the endless hours of ID TV and enjoyed many summers with her family at the beaches of Old Lyme, CT and Westerly, RI.
Judie never went anywhere without knowing someone. A mom not only to her five children but to so many others as well. She was forever complimenting people, always said "Love You More" and made sure to tell you to drive safely when you were getting ready to leave from visiting her. She truly was a selfless person.
She is survived by her 5 children; Robin Bernal, Bill Moran (Pamela), Jodi Canwell, Katie Musumeci (Michael) and Lynn Skinner (Paul). Her beloved eleven grandchildren; Paige (Moran) Konstant, Shannon and Kara Moran, Robin (Golden) Landry, Joseph Canwell, Ashley (Musumeci) Chicoine, Michael and Daniel Musumeci, Kierstan, Taylor and Dakota Skinner, her adored great grandchildren; Autumn and Cole Landry, Tori Chemacki, Michael and Brooklyn Chicoine, very close friends who are like family, Leah Secondo and Dino Pietroniro, as well as many nieces and nephews. Judie's family will be forever grateful for the loving care provided by the nurses and caregivers at Evergreen Healthcare Center in Stafford Springs, CT.
Judie was predeceased by her grandson Justin Bernal, a brother Robert Campbell, a sister Carolyn (Campbell) Brassard, and a son-in-law Claude Canwell.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 11:00 am until time of a service at 2:00 pm with Fr. John Melnick officiating. Graveside Burial will be 1:30pm on Monday, February 13, 2023 at St. Edwards Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or to Today I Matter, P.O. Box 164, Ellington, CT 06029.
