My memories of Karyn will always be how she interacted with everyone with empathy and a great sense of humor. When I worked with her she was one of my go to persons that I could always count on. The kids of Enfield loved her from Hazardville to Fermi, she interacted with them as a adult but also as a friend. She was the only person on earth that I let call me Chuck and when she did she had that smile to let me know she was saying it with effection. Sad to think she is gone. Love Chuck Cornish

Karyn (my husband called her Precious) and I have been friends for almost 35 years. We started working together at Advest in Hartford. Though our careers took different paths our friendship endured. Karyn was my birthday buddy, hers Nov 12th and mine Nov 10th. We always celebrated them togehter, though sometimes it took a couple months but like most good friends, you pick up where you left off and create new memories. She was a great cook - her carrot cake was beyond amazing. Our last meal at her place was her delicious stuffed shells. I miss her so much already and I've just learned of her passing. She loved her family so much. I'm so glad you all spent time together in January. Steven, as you know, you were her pride and joy. Thank you for being a wonderful son and bringing her so much joy. My love and thoughts are with the whole family. Love, Cheryl (red haired)
