Katarzyna (Kowal) Paluch, 83, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 20, 2022 in the comfort of her home with loved ones at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Jozef Paluch (Jan. 2021). Born in Wola Ranizowska, Poland on March 27, 1939 to the late Michal and Rozalia (Sondej) Kowal she came to the United States in 1981, moving to Minnesota and then to Enfield. Prior to retiring, Katarzyna worked cleaning parts at Phoenix Manufacturing. She was an avid reader and loved to cook. Katarzyna was a daily communicant of St. Adalbert Church and a member of the Rosary Sodality in Hartford. She is survived by a son Derek Paluch and his wife Celina of Southington, a daughter Barbara Skrzypek and husband Frank of Southampton, MA, and a daughter-in-law Krystyna Paluch of East Windsor, seven beloved grandchildren and nine cherished great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son Lech Paluch in 2009, a sister Anna Paluch, three brothers Adam, Wojtek, and Wladek Kowal.
Calling hours will be Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Funeral services are on Monday, November 28, 2022 with the procession forming at 9:00 am at the funeral home to St. Adalbert Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield.
