Obituary for Lana Jean Fisher-Holden (Fisher)

Lana Jean Fisher – Holden, of Agawam, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield at the age of 58.
Lana was born on November 27, 1963, in Hartford, CT, a daughter of John G., Sr. and Philomena (Nai) Fisher. She was raised and educated in Enfield and was a graduate of Enrico Fermi High School, before residing in Agawam for over 20 years.
Lana was a former sales associate for Master Card and Visa and was most recently a sales agent with her father John’s Auto Dealership in Agawam.
She had many hobbies and interests that included being an avid Equestrian where she loved riding and training her horse “Chaz”, she loved spending time with friends and family, cooking amazing meals and desserts, and enjoyed listening to country music. She loved making people laugh with her sharp and impeccable wit and sense of humor, while no matter what she had going on or what issues she was going through she was always selfless, always had a smile on her face, and was more worried about others around her. Lana is our shining light through the darkness, and she will be forever in our hearts and minds, as we were in hers.
Lana leaves behind her loving son, William H. “Will” Holden, Jr. of West Springfield, father, John G. Fisher, Sr. of Agawam, sister, Robin Fisher of Suffield, brother-in-law Mark, brothers, John G. Fisher, Jr. of Agawam and Glenn Fisher of Hollywood, FL, Grandmother Dorothy Cartello, of Agawam, several nieces and nephews, Becky, Adria, Esther, and many other extended family members and close friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Philomena and husband, William H. Holden, Sr.
Calling hours for Lana will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082. Her funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lana’s name may be made to help the family, C/O Will Holden.
At the request of the family, masks are required.
