Obituary for Lawrence Cross Jr.

ENFIELD – Lawrence Cross, Jr., 71, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Larry was born on October 22, 1948 in Fall River, MA to the late Lawrence and Florence (DeCastro) Cross. Lawrence served his country proudly in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a project manager, beginning his career with Coleco and then to Advest, which was an investment firm where he did project managing for several consulting firms. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his time gardening, cooking and fishing. He also spent his time reading and building puzzles. Lawrence is survived by his two sisters, Shirley Zorger and her husband, John of Gainesville, VA, Cindy Bostick and her husband, George of Enfield, and five nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Peter and LeRoy and two infant sisters, Wendy and Betty. The funeral will be Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 11am at the Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Road followed by burial in Hazardville Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service on Tuesday from 10 – 11am. Masks and social distancing must be maintained.
