Lawrence “Larry” J. Ferrari, 83, of Niantic, CT, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, New London, CT. Born September 28, 1938 in Hartford, CT to the late Joseph and Charlotte (Labutis) Ferrari. Attended Windsor Locks H.S. and had resided in Niantic for the past 10 years and in Warehouse Point before that where he raised his family. He was employed for many years with the State of CT, as an electrician at Bradley Intl. Airport. Larry had enlisted and served from 1958 -1964 with the Army National Guard. A member of AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) he was also an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He had a passion for photography.
Larry is survived by three sons; Stephen Ferrari of Broad Brook, David Ferrari & wife Carol of Amston, CT and Adam Ferrari, seven grandchildren Nina, Shane, Taylor, Chris, Nathan, Kathy Freddy and their families, his brother Richard Ferrari & wife Linda of E. Granby, along with other family. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11:00 am in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, Enfield with military honors.
