Obituary for Leroy "Roy" A. Oliver, Jr.
Leroy “Roy” A. Oliver, passed from his earthly journey at the age of 60, on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs. He was born on June 26, 1959 in Springfield, MA and was a life-long resident of Enfield.
Roy enjoyed fishing and magic, he was an avid Oakland A’s, Boston Bruins and Green Bay Packers fan.
Leroy is survived by his three brothers; Richard S. Oliver of Enfield, Mark F. Oliver & wife Karen of East Granby, and John A. Oliver of West Stafford, a niece Elaine Aucharme & husband Eric and their children Oliver & Stella of Granby, a nephew Mark A. Oliver & wife Sara and their son Jake of Suffield, along with several cousins and friends.
Roy was predeceased by his parents Leroy A. Oliver, Sr. and Elaine (Gonet) Oliver, and a brother James Lee Oliver.
Services for Roy will be private. Burial will be in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield.
