Linda Wohllebe-Swider, 69 of Springfield, MA entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Mercy Medical Ctr., Springfield, MA. Linda was the beloved wife of 41 years to Ronald C. Swider. She was born on June 13, 1953 in Hartford, CT, a daughter of the late James and Doris (Pollard) Wohllebe. Linda was a graduate of Enfield H.S., Enfield, CT. She had been employed with the former U.S. Envelope/Westvaco Co. for 35 years. Her greatest joy in life was time spent with family and friends during the holidays and special gatherings, as well as spending time at the beach.
In addition to her husband Ronnie, she is survived by two sons; Sean Swider and Christopher Swider and his wife Jessica, her three beloved grandchildren; Elena, Daniel & Troy. She is also survived by a brother Richard Wohllebe, along with a nephew Rory Wohllebe and a niece Jessica Adams, and her pug Mr. Wilson. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a sister Carol Wohllebe-Ouellette, her step-father Earl Johnson and a brother-in-law Donald Swider. The family would like to thank the Staff at Mercy Medical Center for their compassion, support and the TLC given to Linda.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Prayer Service at 12:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Burial will be at the convenience of family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
