Louise Desrocher (Vella)
Louise passed away peacefully on November 11,2023. She was born in the Thompsonville section of Enfield
on November 26,1928.
She retired from Bruno/Kaman Music Corporation after 26 years as a purchasing manager.
Louise was an avid gardener. She enjoyed trips to the beach and UCONN women’s basketball.
She found great joy in her 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Louise is survived by her children Linda (Gary) Allegro and Deborah Arietti of Enfield, Robert (Debra)
Desrocher of Venice FL and Carol (Donald) Norrie of West Suffield.
And many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Richard Desrocher and her siblings Josephine Fede, Eugenia Vella,
Alphonse Vella, Ann Aloisa, Charles Vella and Rose Shelanskas.
Her family wishes to thank Louise's caregivers Nikki and Tina for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to ST. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or the
Enfield Food Shelf.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Patrick Church,
Enfield. A visitation period will be prior to the service from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Browne Memorial Chapels.
Enfield. Burial will take place in the Thompsonville Cemetery, Enfield.
