Margaret Matuck 1927-2023
Father Theodore Matuck Mother Helen Bucken, she never married.
Margaret passed away peacefully at home with her dear friend Laurie by her side. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Suffield CT, graduated from Suffield High School in 1946 and attended Sacred Heart Church went to the Suffield Senior Center for activities and bingo. Margaret enjoyed long car rides and going to the dog park, loved meeting friends at Dunkin Donuts. Margaret leaves her friend Laurie of 25 years and her cousin Robert Strauss of Buffalo NY and his bird Molly who enjoyed talking with Margaret every Sunday at 6pm. Margaret volunteered at The Second Chance in Suffield CT for 9 years. Margaret worked at Bigelow’s for 30 years then the company moved down South. Margaret worked for The Town of Enfield CT as a teacher’s aide for 12 years and retired at the age of 62 years old.
Predeceased sister Dorothy of Suffield CT and two brothers George and Paul Matuck of Enfield CT and a nephew Paul Jr Matuck of Suffield CT, two friends Barbara Santaniello of Agawam MA and Maria Price of Enfield CT. Funeral Service for Margaret will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, with calling hours from 9:30 to 11:00 am followed by a Prayer Service at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Burial will take place in St. Bernard Cemetery, Enfield.
