Obituary for Margaret "Peg" Linn (Whalen)
Margaret “Peg” L. (Whalen) Linn, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Born in Hartford on June 23, 1924, the daughter of the late Anthony and Gladys Whalen. She was an active member of St. Patrick Church. Peg was predeceased by her husband Robert, a daughter Nora Phelps, her sisters Catherine Post, Barbara and Mary Whalen, and son-in-law Ric Burgess.
Peg leaves her children Roberta Burgess, Robert Linn (Judy) and son-in-law Tim Phelps. Her beloved grandchildren; John Phelps, Peggy Bachota (Steven), Bill and George Taylor, great grandchildren; Melissa Madzek (Michael), Isabella and Ian Phelps, Matt Bachota (Shauna) and Jonathan Bachota (Danielle), and three great-great grandchildren; Emmett, Evan and Wyatt Bachota. She also is survived by many nieces, nephews, and some dear friends.
Services for Peg will be private. Browne Memorial Chapels is assisting the family with arrangements. At her request, please perform an act of kindness for someone.
