Marie Rosaria Janczewski, 68, of Largo, Florida formerly of Chicopee, MA entered into eternal rest after a long-fought battle with Leukemia on August 10, 2022 in the comfort of her home. Marie was born on May 30, 1954 in Springfield, MA, the loving daughter of the late Benedict and Sarah (Ruggiero) Janczewski. Marie was a 1972 graduate of Enrico Fermi H.S., Enfield. She was a respite worker and personal care assistant for many years. She was a passionate advocate for he rights of those with special needs. Marie had a great sense of humor and brought much laughter to all who knew. She was a former member of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Ladies Auxiliary, Enfield. She was also predeceased by a sister Gabrielle. She is survived by her cousin Linda Ruggiero and many lifelong close friends who became family.
Calling hours are on Tuesday Sept. 13, from 9:30 to 11:00 am followed by a Prayer Service at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Interment will be private in St. Patrick King St. Cemetery.
