Obituary for Marion Marco (Dubiel)
Marion (Dubiel) Marco, 93, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 11, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late Henry J. Marco. Born March 31, 1928 in the Hazardville section of Enfield, a daughter of the late John and Josephine (Dudek) Dubiel. A life long resident and longtime member of St. Bernard Church (St. Jeanne Jugan Parish) in the Hazardville section of Enfield. Marion enjoyed baking, bowling, trips to the beach, was an avid Red Sox Fan and a Coupon Guru.
Prior to retiring she was employed with A&P Tea Co. for 36 years.
Marion is survived by her loving daughter Judy Marco, and beloved son James Marco both of Enfield, her cherished grandson Alex Bryda, along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Henry Dubiel and a sister Frances Snyder.
Those who wish may gather with her family on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will then follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
