Martin J. Keane, 89 of Enfield, CT passed away peacefully in his sleep, in the presence of family, on the evening of November 2, 2023. Martin leaves behind four children Martin J. Keane III, Michael J. Keane, Matthew J. Keane and Dawn M. Keane. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren including; Amanda M. Cumbo with whom he had a special relationship and who provided great care in his final days. He also leaves behind many great-grandchildren. He was married to his wife Arlene "Pat" Keane for 52 years until her passing in December 2007. Martin was predeceased by his brother Rev. John James Keane. He was a hardworking family man who retired from the Connecticut Department of Corrections as a Corrections Officer, drove "Big Bertha '' for L.R. Hawthorne Trucking in Enfield, Drove a bus for Peter Crombie and was a Volunteer Fireman for the Hazardville Fire Department. Martin attended St. Bernard's Church and always kept his faith strong for those he loved and was kind to all. He will be missed and loved dearly.
Services were held privately from Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd Enfield.
