Obituary for Mary M. Collins (Moran)

Mary A. Collins (Moran), 80, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 15, 2022. Born May, 5, 1942 in Hartford, CT to the late John and Clara M. Moran Leombruno. She grew up in Hebron, CT, having also lived in East Hartford, New Hampshire, Kentucky and for 30+ years in Enfield. Mary was a graduate of RHAM H.S. class of 1960, received her Associates in Technical Illustration in 1982 from Western Kentucky University and attended the Hartford Art School in the early 1960’s. She retired from Tyler Technologies, Inc. after several years of service. Mary enjoyed and spent countless hours gardening, quilting, painting, crocheting and reading. She was also a longtime volunteer at the Enfield Senior Center, as well as be longing to the Enfield Quilt Guild.
She is survived by her five loving children; Susan Mockus & husband Jeffrey of Gaysville, VT, Robert Collins of Tuscaloosa, AL, James Collins & wife Kindra of Dandridge, TN, Diane Alicea & husband Edward of Newtown, CT and Crystal Peritz & husband Kevin of Enfield, CT, six beloved grandchildren; John Collins, Draven Coleman, Colton Collins, Rebecca Alicea, Jessica Muzzulin, and Bethany Muzzulin. She is also survived by a brother, John Moran & wife Ann of Newtown, CT, along with several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by a brother Norman Wilson.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield.
