Obituary

Mary Ethel (Travis) Franciamore, 90, of Enfield, entered into Eternal Life, on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Stonebrook Village, Windsor Locks, CT. She was the beloved wife of 39 years to the late Guido J. Franciamore. Mary was born on June 6, 1928 in Davidson, OK to the late Eugene and Sarah (Boyle) Travis. Vasseur of Somers, her seven cherished great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and sister Judie (Travis) Stover of Dallas, TX, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her grandson Sean R. Vasseur, a great granddaughter Trinity Purcell, three brothers and four sisters.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My heart goes out to the family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God's Word refers to death as an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). Very soon our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God, will remove death once and for all and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth.

I am so sorry at the los of Mary as she was such a presence in the neighborhood of Harrison Ave. Every year since 2003, she hosted the Neighborhood Potluck with a generous spirit. She always took time to at the beginning of the potluck to greet everyone and take a moment to read out the names of passed neighbors, family and friends. Although the location of the Neighborhood Potluck has changed, she will always be there in spirit. I love you Mary. Sherry Dwyer, neighbor at 1 Harrison and friend.

Please accept my condolences for the passing of Mary. There is hope though, as the Almighty has arranged for the resurrection in the future. He promises, "... There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15) I hope you find these few words comforting and provide motivation to prepare for the new world of God's making. (John 17:3)
