Mary-Jo (Culver) Dawson, 70, of Enfield, died Sunday, March 20, 2022. Born on November 28, 1951 in Middletown, NY to Howard and Catherine (Jones) Culver.
Mary-Jo was a 1974 graduate of SUNY, Plattsburg. She married David F. Dawson on June 21, 1975. Mary-Jo worked for the chief Administrator of Courts and for the Board of Education and Services for the Blind both for the state of Connecticut for over 30 years. She was predeceased by her father Howard in 1992 and her mother Catherine in 2002. She is survived by her husband of 46 years David F. Dawson of Enfield, and cousins Jacqueline Newell, Judy Gilbert, and Laurie Gesualdo all of Bloomingburg, NY. Services for Mary-Jo will be private. Browne Memorial Chapels has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial donations in her name are requested to a No Kill Pet Shelter.
