Melanie was an angel to me. She cheered me on and supported me so many ways. I hope this small token will be an everlasting memorial of her time here.

I met Mel at Service Merchandise and became friends with her easily. When I needed a sales coordinator at Unum, Mel applied and she was the best hire I ever made. She was an old soul with a heart of gold. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My sincere condolences and prayers are with her mom, sisters and brother.

Had such a fantastic trip with Melanie, Racquel, and Racquels grandma to the Bahamas. Spent some time in Florida, then enjoyed our cruise. I remember running up and doen the cruise ship with Melanie. Standing on the edge of the deck reenacting the scene from Titanic. Arms in the air, backs arched.... Then we laughed so hard for no reason other than Everything we did was so much fun. Dancing, swimming, laughing, talking and just being plain silly. This is only one of the many memories I have of Melanie. I wish she was here so we could laugh about our pet rabbit named Re*ard. I know it sounds terrible but a night of fun and drinks and a rabbit with way too long teeth that always overgrew and the poor silly rabbit hopping across the floor into the walls earned him his name. It was funny to us until we brought him to the vet and in one quick embarassing minute realized we had to give the vet the bunny name and they would call it out. I have no memory of what name she made up on the spot but I do recall the giggles leaving. I remember long nights is Sonic the Hedgehog... Both of us determined to beat it.. Nights of wine drinking and reminiscing... So many memories I couldn't begin to list them all... What I can say is Melanie is well loved and greatly missed! RIP Mel!! Until we meet again

I have not seen Melanie in many years but will always remember her as one of the most kind people I’d ever had the fortune to be friends with. She could tell when something bothered you and wouldn’t waste a second before trying to raise your spirit and talk you through with the highest optimism! You will be missed here on earth but your wonderful soul is back home now in Heaven. Peace always may you rest.
