Patricia Ann (Mrozinski) Burns, 77, of Enfield beloved wife of 56 years William Burns, entered in to eternal peace on December 11, 2019. Patricia was born in Harford, CT March 17, 1942. She resided in Enfield for 50 years and was a communicant of Holy Family Church, Enfield. Patricia worked at the Travelers Ins. Co., Pratt and Whitney Aircraft (Apollo Division) and retired after 27 years with the Federal Reserve Bank. She volunteered at People for Youth, a suicide crisis hotline. Patricia was a fantastic family cook who loved her fifties music, dancing and planting flowers in her garden. She enjoyed feeding her wild birds, decorating for all occasions, but her greatest pleasure in life was entertaining her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Patricia is survived by her three sons, Peter Burns of Sterling, CT, Chris Burns of Stafford, CT and Billy Burns and Patty Eastham of Stafford, CT. She also leaves a grandson Zachary Burns of Cumberland, RI and two granddaughters, Lindsy Burns of Philadelphia, PA and Deanna Burns of Stafford, CT along with her four sisters, Carol Golas of Canton, CT, Barbara Tozko, of Colebrook, CT, Pam Mrozinski of Middletown, CT and Debbie Richetelle of Middletown, CT along with many nieces and nephews. Patricia was predeceased by her grandson Matthew Burns and her mother and father Conrad and Carmelina Mrozinski. Memorial donations in Patricia’s name may be made to the American Heart Assoc., the American Diabetes Assoc. or the American Kidney Foundation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday December 18, 2019 at Holy Family Church (St. Jeanne Jugan Parish). We will be meeting at church. Patricia’s family will receive relatives and friends at Browne Memorial Chapels on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
