Obituary for Peter D. Costas
Peter D. Costas, 64 of E. Windsor, CT, went on to Heaven August 3, 2023 with his family at his side. He was the beloved son of Barbara and the late Constantine (Gus) Costas. Peter was born on May 7, 1959.
Peter enjoyed his life being very adventurous and left no stone unturned. Peter had a big heart, well liked by everyone, and was fun to be around. He liked to ski, going to the beach, enjoyed Red Socks baseball, anything with wheels. He had a passion for animals and always had a dog or a cat.
Peter is survived by his mother, Barbara Costas of Enfield, 2 brothers; Tom & Becky Costas of CA, and Michael Costas of E. Windsor, 2 sisters; Kathleen Litchstein of FL, and Joanne Stoddard of Enfield, three nephews and two great nephews, as well as his former wife and special friend Penny.
Friends may gather with his family at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, to celebrate Peter’s life and spirit.
In lieu of flowers to honor Peter’s memory donations may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd. Newington, CT 06111.
