ENFIELD – Raymond E. Dowding, 50, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at home. Born in Manchester, he was a lifelong resident of Enfield and a 1988 graduate of Enrico Fermi High School. Raymond worked as a technician in the HVAC department at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was a drum enthusiast but his favorite activity was being a wonderful father to his four children. He leaves his wife, Elizabeth L. (Clark) Dowding, a son, Raymond J. “RJ” Dowding of Enfield, three daughters, Katherine L. Dowding of Enfield, Paige L. Dowding of Ellington, Alyssa L. Dowding of Enfield, his father, Robert Dowding of South Windsor, and a brother, Robert Dowding of Enfield. He was predeceased by his mother, Peggy (Messier) Dowding. All services are private and Browne Memorial Chapels is assisting the family.
