Robert J. Lamond entered into eternal rest on Monday August 31 where he died peacefully at home. Born in Hartford Connecticut on October 9, 1955, Bob grew up in Enfield where he was a 1973 graduate of Enfield High School and later completed an Associate’s degree through Asnuntuck Community College. The majority of Bob’s working career was spent in the Aviation industry where he started as a shop mechanic and then supervisor before rising through the ranks to became a well-respected worldwide marketing and sales executive. Bob traveled extensively throughout Asia, Europe and the UK where he also lived and worked in Scotland for four years. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots even while living for the last 30 years in Broward County Florida. Bob leaves his daughter and best friend Jennifer and her partner Jeff, his Brother Steve and partner Jill, his parents Jim and Connie, nephews Kyle and Patrick, niece Lindsey as well as long-time partner Scottie and his former spouse Judy and her family. He was pre-deceased by his brother Mark, God Mother Barbra Pray and beloved son Craig who he now joins in God’s heavenly kingdom. Bob was an animal lover and care taker for many pets over the years and was also pre-deceased by his beloved Dachshund Fenway. The family is planning a memorial service to be announced at a later date. Family and friends may attend a Graveside Service on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Enfield Street Cemetery, Enfield, CT.
