Obituary for Rose A. LaBrecque (Angelica)

Rose A. (Angelica) LaBrecque, 96, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Friday April 14, 2023. She was the beloved wife of 34 years to the late Raymond LaBrecque. Rose was born August 27, 1926 to the late Nicolo and Maria (Giordano) Angelica, whom had immigrated from Campofiorito, Italy. She was a lifelong resident of Enfield, after being widowed in 1992, she later resided with her daughter Maria for many years. Rose was a graduate of Enfield H.S. Rose was employed at Bigelow Carpet Mills and later at the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. Rose was a loving mother and grandmother and a loyal sibling to her brothers and sisters. Her immediate and extended family were always very important to her, and she took pride in seeing them become successful.
Her interests besides family, were sewing and cooking with homemade family recipes, especially around the holidays making Italian cookies and cannoli’s.
Rose is survived by her two loving children, Michael LaBrecque of East Granby and Maria Robinson of Enfield, beloved grandchildren, Raymond LaBrecque of Windsor, Eric LaBrecque of East Granby and Mark Robinson of Enfield, her cherished great granddaughter Milena LaBrecque. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Mark Angelica, Mary Ann Dupuis, Gary Angelica, Carol Richards, John Angelica, Michael Angelica, Nicholette Michenco, Christine Goonan and Maria Tilli. Besides her husband and parents Rose was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph Angelica, Nicholas Angelica, Sebastian Angelica Vincetta Angelica, Angelina Angelica and Mary Barberi.
Funeral Services for Rose will be held on Saturday April 22, 2023 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 am in St. Patrick Church, Enfield (Please meet at church). Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, Enfield.
