I have just now learned of Ruth’s passing—or as we called her, “Ruthie”. She was one of the most dear people in our lives and always cherished. She was also the sponsor for our two oldest sons at their baptisms and my wife’s sponsor when we became Catholics at St. Bernard’s. I counted on her to sing at so many Masses and programs. Truly, we loved her greatly. I last saw her around 2006 when I was singing in MA. I took a little side trip to come down and see her. How I wish we could have been together more often. She missed Leo so much. May they both now rejoice together with our Lord. And may you be comforted and cheered in knowing how loved Ruth was.

I am so sorry for your loss😢 Ruth was a real spitfire. She lived her grandchildren deeply and looked forward to them coming and taking her out. She absolutely loved Wendy’s even against her sons will. She use to tell me many stories of her late husband, and her mother who was also a spitfire. She taught me how to play cards. I use to be her aide from companions & homemakers and we had a ball. She will forever carry a special place in my heart. To know her is to love her❤️ May she fly high with the Angel’s 😇👼🏻
