Scott Thomas Bailey, 63, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Ctr. He was the beloved husband of Theresa “Terry” (Dunagin) Bailey. Scott was born on June 25, 1958 in Springfield, MA, the son of Janet (Thomas) Bailey and the late Ernest Bailey. He was a life-long resident of Enfield. Scott was employed with Kaman Corporation for 26 years. He was a member of the East Windsor Sportsman Club, an active outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was an avid Red Sox fan.
In addition to his wife Terry, he is also survived by three children Carolyn Clark & husband Travis of Enfield, Philip Bailey & wife Katie of Somers, and Kimberly Bailey & Jaron Haslem of Enfield, his five cherished grandchildren Mark, Grace and Luke Bailey, Jayden Haslem and Camryn Clark, a sister Sandra Bajorek of North Granby, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his father Ernest, he was also predeceased by a brother Thomas Bailey.
Relatives and friends may gather with his family on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the funeral home at 11:00 am. The family has requested mask be worn. Interment will follow in the Enfield Street Cemetery, Enfield, CT. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the East Windsor Sportsman Club, 30 Apothecaries Hall Rd, Broad Brook, CT 06016.
