Sheila (Fitzpatrick) DeTuccio, 84, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 9, 2023. She was the beloved wife of 66 years to David L. DeTuccio. Sheila was born on June 14, 1939 in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Parchall) Fitzpatrick. A graduate of Bulkley H.S. Hartford and later moved to Enfield where she had resided for over 55 years. After the children had grown Sheila was employed for 17 years with Hallmark Cards until she started babysitting for her grandchildren, which was the joy of her life. She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and many trips to Disney World when the children were younger and later with her grandchildren. In her later years she enjoyed following the UCONN Huskies girl’s, basketball team and playing cards at Foxwoods.
In addition to her husband Dave, she is also survived by four loving daughters; Debra Ann DeTuccio of ME, Doreen DeTuccio of Enfield, Donna McIntosh of Windsor Locks, and Diane Ferrari & husband Monte of Suffield, her 10 beloved grandchildren; Corey Hurrle, Ryan Hurrle, Justin LaCroix, Kyle Rehmer, Dakoda Rehmer, Brittany McIntosh, Brandon McIntosh, Colby Tyler, Remington Ferrari and Mason Ferrari, and three cherished great granddaughters; Misha LaCroix, Nora Tyler and Josie Tyler. And a special friend Rose Larkin.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 with a Prayer service at the funeral home at 10:00 am, followed by interment in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield.
