Obituary for Sr. Mary Bernard Skrocka
Sr. Mary Bernard Skrocka, 98, Entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Our Lady of the Angels Convent. She has been a member of the Felician Sisters Congregation for 76 years.
One of four children to the late Leon and Stefania (Jaskulkowska) Skrocki, she was born in New York City and raised in the Bronx. Most of her years as a Felician Sister were spent as a medical technologist at Joseph Hospital, Bangor, ME and Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. In 1991 to Our Lady of the Angels Convent where she was assistant to the provincial treasurer.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Francis Skrocki, sisters Genevieve Codik and Jane Musnicki and a niece Sr. Mary Janine Musnicki, CSSF
She is survived by her niece Nadine Foley of Newtown, PA. A Mass for Sr. Bernard will be private in OLA Chapel, Enfield. Interment will take place in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield.
