Obituary for Thomas Phillip "Tom" Ward, Sr.
Thomas Phillip Ward, Sr. 79, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Born on June 12, 1943 in Bath, Maine, a son of the late Phillip and Phyllis (Kirkpatrick) Ward. He had resided in Enfield for over 50 years.
Tom graduate from high school in Limestone, ME and further his education at UCONN and Western New England University. He was employed with United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton/Sundstrand, Collins Aerospace and Raytheon.
Tom was formerly president of the Enfield Hockey Association, Longtime coach of Enfield Youth Hockey Association and Springfield Junior Olympics, and President of the Carriage House Condominium Association.
Tom is survived by his two sons Brian H. Ward of Salem, NH and Tom Ward, Jr. of Enfield, CT, and a brother Roger Ward of South Carolina, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Jeffrey Ward and a sister Judy (Ward) Featenby. Per Tom’s request there will be no services. Browne Memorial Chapels has been entrusted with his arrangements.
