Obituary for Tyler Eric Wadsworth

Tyler E. Wadsworth, of Enfield, passed from his earthly journey at the age of 30, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Born on May 25, 1992 in Hartford, CT to his parents Ronald Wadsworth and Lisa Gillespie and the step-son of William Gillespie. Tyler grew up in Enfield and was a 2010 graduate of Enrico Fermi H.S., Enfield, played on the Enrico Fermi Boys Basketball team freshman – varsity #23, Enfield Ramblers Football league and AAU Basketball. He was an avid sports enthusiast with football he was a fan of the Denver Broncos and in basketball the Chicago Bulls his favorite being Michael Jordan #23. Tyler had a great personality, hard worker, great dad, extremely popular with everyone, had a passion to go to barber school and loved cutting friend’s hair, he had a huge heart, always helping others even at an early age with emotional support and all the way up to the time he passed, loved Sunday afternoon football, cooking for family and friends, but most of all spending time with family and friends. His family would especially like to thank all of Tyler’s family and friends that have supported him along his journey.
In addition to his parents, Tyler is survived by his son Colby Wadsworth, his daughter Mackenzie Mason and step-sister Brittany Gillespie, his paternal grandmother Helen Wadsworth, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, having a huge family on both sides. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Frank Wadsworth, and maternal grandparents David and Olivia Brooks.
Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 1 to 3 pm and 5 to 7 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Interment will be held on Thursday, October 13, at 10:00 am in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield.
