Vincenzo Luigi (“Jimmy/Vinny”) Rinaldi, 89, of Enfield, beloved husband of 52 years to Titi Maria (Porcello) Rinaldi, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Yonkers, NY on June 26, 1931, son of the late Calogero and Maria Licata (Arnone) Rinaldi and had lived both in Sicily and Enfield during his lifetime. Prior to retiring Jimmy had been employed with the Bigelow Sanford Carpet Co. as a Section Man and The Parkway Pavilion in maintenance. No matter where he resided, in his leisure time he enjoyed playing cards, gardening and traveling.
In addition to his beloved wife, Titi, Jimmy is survived by his nephews and nieces, Charles Diana, Duncan and Angela Diana Babcock, Maria Diana Root and his niece Angela Porcello from Naro, Italy; his grandnieces and Nephews, Dustin, Deanna, Diana, Robert, Vincent and Miriam; brother-in-law and sister-in-law of Naro Sicily, Giuseppe and Rosa Porcello. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Charles and Maria Diana.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at St. Adalbert Church (St. Raymond of Penafort Parish) 90 Alden Ave. Enfield. Interment will follow in St. Patrick King St. Cemetery. Jimmy’s family will receive relatives and friends prior Mass from 9:00 to 10:30 am at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd.
