Obituary for William D. "Billy" Carville

William D. Carville 83, a lifelong resident of Enfield CT went home to the lord on October 19, 2022 at Rockville General Hospital with his family by his side.
William was the eldest son of the late William and Rose (Noto) Carville. After graduating high school, William enlisted in the US Army and served his country for 6 years. He worked for Hallmark Cards in Enfield for 31 years before retiring. William had an unwavering faith in God and was a lifelong parishioner of Saint Patricks’ Church. He was also a proud member of the 3rd and 4th Degree with The Knights of Columbus Council # 50 in Enfield CT for the past 56 years. William was a simple man who loved tag sales and finding treasures for himself and his family. He enjoyed old movies and was a dedicated fan of the Boston Red Sox and the UCONN Huskies women’s basketball.
He was pre-deceased by his two Brothers Richard Carville, Robert Carville and his sister-in-law Gloria Carville.
William is survived by his nephew Jeffrey Carville his fiancé Jill Pavone and their two children Maximus and Magnum Carville of Millbury MA and his niece Kristin Brown her husband Thomas and her son Nicholas Carville of Southwick MA.
The family would like to thank all of his friends and neighbors who have lent a hand to William throughout the years. Their kindness will forever be appreciated.
Calling hours for William will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Funeral service will take place with the procession forming on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022 at 10:00 am from the funeral home to St. Patrick Church (St. Raymond of Penafort Parish) Enfield, for a 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to St. Raymond of Penafort Parish, (St. Patrick Church) 64 Pearl St. Enfield, CT 06082.
