Ann M. (Mancuso) Colson, 87, of Enfield, beloved wife of the late Howard J. Colson, Sr., died peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Parkway Pavilion, surrounded by her loving family. Born in the Thompsonville section of Enfield on June 6, 1928, Ann was the daughter of the late Rosario and Lilly (Vassallo) Mancuso. Ann has been a lifelong resident of Enfield and was a communicant of St. Patrick Church. She is survived by her loving family; her sons, Howard J. Colson, Jr., Gary M. Colson and Leah Corriveau, and Jeffrey J. Colson, all of Enfield; four grandchildren, Cheri Ann Colson, Sara Ann Colson, Jordan Corriveau and Colby Corriveau; her sisters, Sally Kennedy of New Hartford, NY, Lillian Fitzgerald of Enfield, Rose Cormier and her husband, William of Enfield, Arlene Corriveau of Agawam, MA and Jean Cienaski and her husband, Walter of Enfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Jack and Sam Mancuso; and her two sisters, Grace Mancuso and Marie Purdy. Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 11, 2016 by 9:00 a.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels for a procession to St. Patrick Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery. Ann’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of one’s choice.
