Dave and family, I wanted to speak last night at the service, but I couldn't bring myself to. This is what I would have said: I was Janet's caregiver since October 2014 until the day before she passed away. I learned so much from her cooking, fixing things, makeup, etc. We had fun, painting Bella's (dog) toe nails, fixing the floor with nail polish where there were burn marks on the floor from her dropping her cigarettes, the rides to her doctor appointments on PVTA van (we called it the special bus & act like crazy people before the bus came. OMG, We laughed alot, and then there were the serious talks. Janet would tell me things & I told her things about our families & friends that no one knew how we were feeling. We were neighbors & friends for over 21 years. I loved her like a sister and I will miss her terribly. RIP Kathy
