Obituary for Elarry W. Shlatz Jr.

Elarry W. Shlatz Jr, 67, entered into eternal peace on September 25th 2016. Elarry was the son of the late Elarry and Helen “Yanek” Shlatz. He was a graduate of Enfield High School, class of 1968, and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran.
Elarry was formerly employed by Conrail for many years and retired several years ago. He loved astronomy and traveling to different places with his mother. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sport cars. After retiring he moved to Las Vegas to enjoy life to the fullest. He is survived by his brother and sister in-law John and Debra Shlatz of Enfield and his niece Carolyn and her husband Joseph Pascucci of Huston Texas. He is also survived by his nephew Kevin and his wife Jessica Shlatz of West Hartford Ct. Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 29th at 11:00am at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. The Shlatz family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 9:00am to 11:00am Interment will be with military honors in Hazardville Cemetery.
