Edward “Ed” F. Milikowski, 82, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Monday Oct. 30, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Hartford. Ed was born on Aug. 4, 1935 in Hartford, CT, son of the late Edward J. Milikowski and Anna (Zelonka) Milikowski David. He had resided in Enfield most of his life. Ed served his country proudly with the U.S. Army from Mar. ’55 to Feb. ’58. He started his working career with Hamilton Standard, then Thompson’s and owned his own printing & graphics business for 25 years the former Fiore Graphica, Inc.
Ed was a member of St. Patrick Church and former member of the Knights of Columbus and was an avid golfer and member of St. Anne’s C.C. Feeding Hills, MA.
Ed is survived by his dear friend Roxana Falk of Enfield, his sister Anne Tardif of Nashua, NH, a sister-in-law Lina Milikowski of Wethesfield, CT, along with many nieces and nephews. Ed was predeceased by his wife Ann (Lorino) Milikowski in 2005, his sister and brother-in-law Rosemary & George Francolini, his brother Jack Milikowski and brother-in-law Leo Tardif.
Calling hours for Ed are Thursday Nov. 2, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield. Funeral services will take place on Friday Nov. 3, 2017 with the funeral procession forming at 9 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Patrick Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow with military honors in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery, Enfield.
