Joanne A. Buck
Joanne A. Buck, 79 of Enfield, passed away on December 8, 2017 at Parkway Pavilion with her family and friends at her side, after a long illness. She was born November 13, 1938 in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Elizabeth and Earl Gurley. She is survived by her three sons James and Diane of Suffield, Wayne and Ann of Enfield, and Steven of Willington, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She leaves a sister Roberta and husband Bill Vedovelli of Florida. Along with both parents she was predeceased by her husband James, and brothers Joel and Eddie Gurley.
Her love of antiques led her to running her own shop which she truly enjoyed. She loved meeting and talking with people. Joanne was known to be a pretty feisty woman, which made some love her so much. She had a special place in her heart for dogs. Especially her Goldens.
A very special thank you to the caring staff at Parkway and to her Hospice workers. Funeral services are private and arrangements are entrusted to the Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels. Memorial contributions may be made in Joanneā€™s memory to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104-2396.
