Jason Scott Carter, known to many as “Carter”, of East Windsor & Enfield, passed from this earthly journey at the age of 42, resulting from complication of a fire on Thursday Dec. 14, 2017. He was born on January 11, 1975 in Springfield, MA, a son of Wayne & Barbara (Weatherwax) Carter of Enfield. He resided in Enfield most of his life. He worked as a self-employed construction contractor for several years. He was an avid Dave Mathews fan who never missed a local concert or show. He loved spending time fixing things and loved hanging out with his friends & family. His one liners will be remembered forever.
Jason is also survived by his siblings; Shirley Smith-Flynn of CA, Jeffrey Smith of CT, Lorie Carter and Barbara Carter-Holmes both of SC, his five nephews, two nieces & one great-nephew, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jason’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday Dec. 20, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield. Burial will be at the convenience of family.
