Jean  F.   Goclowski (Griffin)
Jean F. (Griffin) Goclowski, of Enfield, entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in the comfort of her home. She was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Walter Goclowski.
Jean was born in Providence, RI, and resided there until 1965 at which time she moved to Enfield. Prior to retiring, she was employed with H.P. Hood & Sons. She was a parishioner of St Martha Church, Enfield, CT.
Jean is survived by her two daughters, Katherine Pike and her husband Douglas of Windsor, and Patricia Fedo and her husband Richard, Jr. of Enfield, her two beloved grandchildren Kristen (Pike) Rulon and her husband Robert, and Timothy Pike; her cherished great-granddaughter, Kaylee Rulon; and a brother John “Jack” Griffin of Lincoln, RI and Melbourne, Florida, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her husband and her parents Timothy and Margaret Griffin, Jean was also predeceased by a daughter Jane Marie Goclowski, two sisters Joan Simpson and Margaret Griffin, and a sister-in-law Suzanne (Marcotte) Griffin.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to her caregivers, Masonic Care Hospice and her neighbors for their care, support and companionship during her time of need.
Jean’s family will receive relatives and friends during calling hours on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Martha Church, 214 Brainard Rd., Enfield, CT. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield, CT.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd. 4B, Southington, CT 06489-1058
