Louise A. (Jutras) Nelson, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Monday (January 10, 2011) at the age of 64, at Heritage Hall South in Agawam, MA. She was born on March 21, 1946 in Berlin, New Hampshire the daughter of Florence (Guilmette) Jutras of Enfield and the late Maurice Jutras and resided in Enfield for most of her life. She had been employed as a hairdresser with Ms. Jo’s Salon and as a sales associate with Marshall’s Department Store for many years. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family especially during the holidays and special events. Besides her mother, Louise is survived by her loving children; Mark Nelson and his wife Amy of Springfield, MA and Julie Slater and her husband Jason of Enfield, her two beloved granddaughters; Danielle Burke and Jenna Slater. She is also survived by two sisters; Pauline Spanilo and her husband Ernie of Agawam, MA and Jeanne Liss and her husband Mark of Enfield and a brother Donald Jutras and his wife Cindee of East Windsor, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends may gather with her family during calling hours on Thursday (January 13, 2011) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT. Funeral services will take place on Friday (January 14, 2011) with the procession forming at 9:15 am to St. Martha’s Church 214 Brainard Rd. in Enfield for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial followed by interment in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield.
