We were so happy to reconnect with Joe after 50 years. The day we spent together was wonderful; full of old war stories and fond memories. Joe was the best athlete I ever knew, be it baseball, stickball or basketball ( played while wearing Florsheim shoes and sliding across the court). A wonderful guy who will be both missed and remembered fondly.
