Wayne T. Moore, 70, of Ellington, CT beloved wife of Cathy (Sturgis) Moore, passed from this life, Saturday July 21, 2018 at his home. Born October 7, 1947 in Stafford, CT Wayne was the son of the late Thomas and Rita (Gaboury) Moore. A veteran of the Viet Nam War, Wayne served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement he was employed with Vista Trucking of South Windsor, CT for 22 years. Wayne enjoyed vacationing, visiting the casinos and cherished time just being with Cathy. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends Dave and Richey. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Wayne is survived by his daughter Kimberly Pezanetti and husband John of E. Hartford, son Wayne T. Moore, Jr. of Stafford, stepsons Jamie Coughlin of Augusta, ME, Matthew Villacci of Portland, ME, step daughter Katie Goodwin and husband Mike of Turner, ME along with 4 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren. He also leaves his sisters and brothers; Marie McNulty and husband John, Sheila Boivin, Thomas Moore and wife Jane and Bruce Moore and his mother and father-in-law who he loved deeply, Elwyn and Betty Sturgis of Spring Hill, FL. Wayne was predeceased by his brother Ralph. Services are private at the convenience of the family.
