Condolences

Condolence From: Sr. Ellen Anne, lsp
Condolence: Please accept my sincere sympathy and condolences during this time of mourning. I'm sure Father O'Connell waited for his 60th anniviversay of priestly ordination and his 90th birthday before entering into his eternal bliss with the Lord his God whom he served so zealously, fervently, and devotedly. He had anticipated these two events of great achievement with much joy! It was a joy for me to have participated in his care at St. Joseph's. He enriched my life by his priestly ministry and wholehearted goodness. He appreciated life and loved people - and they loved him in return! May He now rest in peace and receive the fruits of his earthly labors in the Kingdom of our God and Father.

Condolence From: Susan Lincoln
Condolence: I would like to extend my sympathy and condolences to the family of Fr. O'Connell. During the 27 years that my family and I have been parishoners at St.Martha Church, we came to know Fr.John as a quiet but sometimes very funny man, who was also very wise, knowledgeble, gentle, kind and very caring. We have missed him since he had to retire, and will continue to all the more, now. Our consolation is in knowing that he is with our Lord, and that we can now turn to him in prayer to help us on our way to salvation. A very important page in our lives has been turned.
