Obituary for

Mauberte "Peggy” M. (Michaud) Thivierge, 77, of Windsor Locks, entered into eternal life on Friday Aug. 31, 2007 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford. Mauberte was the beloved wife of 55 years to Hermel P. Thivierge. She was born on Feb. 2, 1930 in New Canada Plt., Daigle, Maine, a daughter of the late Joseph and Yvonne (Daigle) Michaud. She had resided in Windsor Locks for the past 52 years and in Hartford and E. Hartford before that. Prior to her retirement in 1992, Peggy was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston for 16 years and before that by Hamilton Standard for 10 years. She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Besides her beloved husband, Hermel, Peggy is also survived by her two loving daughters; Denise Thivierge of Enfield and Renee Kleber & her husband, Daniel of Pepperell, MA, her two beloved granddaughters, Michaela and Bryanna Kleber, her siblings; Joan Jordan & husband Ralph of Enfield, Bibiana Malloy & husband, William of Farmingdale, ME, Jean Michaud & wife, Greta of Enfield, Philip Michaud of Enfield, Rita Michaud Wecker & husband, Ted of New Lenox, IL, her sister-in-law, Diana Michaud of Portage Lake, ME, her aunts, Marie Daigle of Peabody, MA and Catherine Daigle of Saco, ME along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Marc and Louis Michaud a sister, Candide Duperry and her brother-in-law, Charles Duperry. Funeral services in celebration of Mauberte's life will be held on Sat. Sept. 8, 2007 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church 52 S. Elm St. Windsor Locks, followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Windsor Locks. Her family will receive friends on Friday Sept. 7, from 6 to 9pm at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. in Enfield (Exit 48 off I-91, East on Rt. 220 for 1-1/4 miles).
