The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alfred "Fred" Gamache can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Diane
Condolence: One of the kindest dearest people I have ever met. I worked with him back in the 1970's at Grants.

Condolence From: Colleen and Rob MacKenzie
Condolence: Aunt Rita and Family,
Rob and I are so very sorry for your loss.
We adored Uncle Fred: he was such a wonderful friend to me, since my very birth - and an equally wonderful friend to Rob, since the two of us met and married.
Our love and thoughts are with all of you.
And I hope it helps to know how much Uncle Fred was, and IS, loved.
We will think of him every time I play my piano, and when we plant flowers (as we remember his beautiful garden) and when we laugh at the tv, and cheer on the Red Sox, and hang Christmas decorations.
Our friends loved his wonderful decorations too, and they thought the world of Uncle Fred.
Know that we love you too, and our hearts are with you.
Love, Colleen and Rob

Condolence From: Barbara Spanswick Vane
Condolence: To Rita and her family, I am so sorry to hear of Freddie's passing. As you know he was a lifelong neighbor and friend to my husband Ray's family, the Vanes. We have known Freddie just about all our lives and he was always a friendly, happy man. May he rest in peace.
