Edward R. Golden, Sr. of Enfield entered into eternal rest at the age of 63 on Thurs December 9, 2010 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs. He was the beloved husband of Rose-Ann (Sevarino) Golden and son of the late George and Pearl (Rivers) Golden, born on May 14, 1947 in Springfield, MA. Edward was a lifelong resident of the Thompsonville section of Enfield.
Besides his wife Rose-Ann, Edward is survived by his beloved children; Timothy W. Golden of Simsbury, Edward R. Golden, Jr. of Broad Brook, Stacie Golden of New Haven, Christeena Doering of Pinellas Park, FL, Jenn Jones of Manchester, Jason Jones of North Carolina, Rosemary & Jim Titus of Stafford Springs and Michael & Nog Hernandez also of Stafford Springs, 18 loving grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He also is survived by his siblings and in-laws: John Golden of Moosup, George Golden of FL, Fred Golden of NY State, Barbara Barrows, Mary Dubey, Elizabeth Ryan, Gary & Kathy Sevarino and Nino & Sharon Sevarino all of Enfield, along with many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his siblings: Emily, Rene, Loraine, Robert, Lucille, Leona, Donald, Judy, Francis and Thomas. Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Sunday (December 12, 2010) from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
